If you use the Brush tool with a graphic tablet and pen, Toon Boom Studio responds to the amount of pressure you apply and creates variable-width strokes.

The points that make up a brush stroke run around the stroke, creating a contour. You can change the direction of a brush stroke by using the Contour Editor to move the points.

Use any of the following methods to activate this tool:

Select Tools > Drawing Tools > Brush.
Click the Brush tool on the Drawing Tools toolbar. If the Brush is visible in the Drawing Tools toolbar, press [2] to activate it.
Press [Shift]+[2], the default keyboard shortcut.
